Terms of sale and use
Last updated 31 October 2026
1. Who we are
Classnaut is made and sold by Marius Coroiu, China ("we", "us"). Contact: [email protected].
Our order process is run by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service enquiries about payment and handles returns. Paddle's own buyer terms also apply to your purchase.
2. What Classnaut is
Classnaut is classroom software for teachers. It includes the Mission Control hub of classroom tools, the Retro Education games and optional syllabus lesson packs. It runs in a web browser at app.classnaut.com and retro.classnaut.com, and as a desktop version.
3. Free use
You can use the free tools without paying or creating an account. Some tools and games have free tries or free sample content. We may change which features are free. Anything you already made stays saved in your browser.
4. Licences
- A Pro Teacher licence is for one named teacher. That teacher may use it on any computer they teach with.
- A syllabus pack is added to a licence and opens every lesson in that pack, including units added later.
- A School licence covers every teacher employed at one school site.
- A licence is a one-time payment and does not expire. It includes updates to the features it covers for as long as we offer Classnaut.
- Your licence key is personal to the licence holder. Do not publish or share it outside the people the licence covers. We may cancel a key that is shared publicly, after contacting the licence holder where we can.
5. Your content
Questions, class lists, plans and other material you create belong to you. They are saved in your browser on your computer. We do not receive a copy. Keep backups with the backup file option in Class Lists.
6. Our content
The software, games, artwork and syllabus lessons are ours or our licensors'. With a valid licence you may use the lessons with your own classes and print worksheets for your students. You may not resell, republish or upload the lessons for others to download.
7. Refunds
You can ask for a refund within 14 days of purchase. See the refund policy. A refund cancels the licence key.
8. Acceptable use
Do not try to break the licence system, overload our servers, or use Classnaut to harm students or others.
9. Availability and liability
We work to keep Classnaut available and correct, but we provide it as it is. Check lessons before you teach them. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for your licence. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law in your country.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Changes do not reduce what you already paid for.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the law of China, without affecting consumer protections that apply where you live.
